What's New Archive

What's New

This is an archive of the list of the updates made to my website over the years.

September 7, 2005 Attempted replication of candle as a solid dielectric. Did not work.
December 22, 2004 Attempted replication of rotating charged cylinder experiment from European patent EP 0486243, Machine for acceleration in a gravitational field by Haruo Tamashita and Takayuki Toyama. Did not work.
October 14, 2004 I made some conductive bearings for doing voltage measurements across spinning things.
September 24, 2004 Vacuum cleaner motor and supporting structure for use in propulsion experiments involving high speed rotation.
September 18, 2004 1. Did experiments with Poynting Flow Thruster and determined that it's really just another wind force being used.
2. Added details about my new low friction stator/rotor.
3. Added picture of one of Russell Anderson's beamships.
June 11, 2004 Added cellulose acetate and varnished cotton to the list of measured relative dielectric constants (K). Also added a section on measuring breakdown voltage.
May 16, 2004 1. Added conclusion to Full Cylinder, Dual Dielectric e-field Thruster 1 project. No resulting force.
2. 24V DC power supply (homemade).
3. 30kV DC power supply (homemade).
March 13, 2004 Details about the actual top rejection magnets David Hamel used in his 45GD. Also added test results that show his top rejection magnets were Barium Ferrite but his cone rim magnets were Strontium Ferrite.
October 19, 2003 E-Field thruster, a solid dielectric thruster experiment. Device now completed - test still to be performed.
August 30, 2003 My homemade HV probe for voltages greater than 40kV (and theoretically up to 250kV) was completed August 24, 2003.
July 12, 2003 My new homemade HV probe designed to handle up to 150kV.
June 15, 2003 A new section on materials. In this case I've added a page on dielectrics that contains measurements I've made for calculating the dielectric constants of paraffin wax, lucite, and resin.
June 9, 2002 Gravitator experiments.
February 23, 2002 A 24kV computer monitor power supply.
Also, a probe for measuring voltages up to 40kV.
December 29, 2001 A new weight measuring device.
October 14, 2001 A new lifter along with some initial wind tests (effect on a flame, cardboard between electrodes). The main lifter page is now here.
October 10, 2001 Replication of Transdimensional's lifter experiment
June 3, 2001 Details of David Hamel's spaceship from a visit by Ole Jensen and me on June 2, 2001.
